Playing the keyboard

Touch one of the 12 keys to play a note. Drag the bar under the keyboard to shift the range, and use the Octave Stepper to change octaves. Tap Sub to add a suboctave of the root.

Only one key can be pressed at a time.

Velocity and modulation

The keyboard responds to velocity and modulation. Both settings are in the Settings tab of Settings.

Velocity sensitive is on by default. Touch the top of a key to play louder and the bottom to play quieter. Set the softest and loudest values with the range slider (default 80–127). With it off, every note plays at 100.

Modulation sensitive is off by default. Drag up on a held key to raise modulation and down to lower it. Modulation stays where you left it between notes. Turning the setting off resets modulation to zero.
